Join us in the rolling hills of Texas Hill Country for the 77th Annual Meeting of the Southern Neurosurgical Society. Dr. Kara Parikh has assembled a spectacular scientific program around this year’s theme, “Science. Skills. Southern: What we know. What we do. Who we are.” Highlights include expert debates in our Spine and Tumor sessions, a presentation on notable advances in pediatric neurosurgical care, and a Round Table focused on how to handle, avoid, and learn from mistakes and complications.

This year’s lineup of invited lecturers is equally compelling. We are pleased to welcome author, food writer, and historian John T. Edge as our Downing Lecturer. Daniel Prevedello and Judy Huang will join us as the Hudson and Semmes Lecturers, and we will honor Daniel Barrow as the 2027 Distinguished Practitioner. Then, for a Friday-night change of pace, join us for a concert under the stars with Texas legend Ray Wylie Hubbard and his band.
